FAQ

What is your rate?

Our credit packages are designed to help you customize your tutoring commitment and budget.

As a reminder, credit packages are available as follows and offer a discount from our $60/hr standard rate.

Unused credits are non-refundable and do not expire.

Who are our tutors?

inGenius! Learning Center contracts out to various tutors that have been screened to ensure that your child receives some of the best private tutoring that our area has to offer. Our tutors have all received a 4-year degree and have had previous experience with tutoring. They come with very high recommendations from other tutoring centers and parents that they have worked with. We are confident that you will be pleased with the quality of tutoring that our private tutors provide.

Where do students meet with their tutors?

This is determined by the tutor that your student will work with. Most of our tutors sequester a table at local coffee shops where we can work privately. We are also able to go to your home for tutoring (see the following FAQ).

Do your tutors make house calls?

Yes. Drive time to and from the primary tutoring location is billed at the regular hourly rate. Most parents can budget for this to be 15-20 minutes for each round trip visit to their house.

Who do I pay?

inGenius! will keep track of your student's tutoring hours in a database and send you regular invoices via email. Checks are made out to inGenius! Learning Center and can be mailed to our business address. You can also pay on-line with PayPal or Google Wallet.

What if I'm not satisfied with my student's tutor?

We always aim for you to be 100% satisfied with your tutoring experience. We recognize that sometimes a tutor-student match is not ideal, and when that is the case, we are always open to having your student work with another one of our tutors. If for some reason you are dissatisfied with your experience at inGenius! at any time, you will not be charged for any unpaid hours.

How many hours a week do you recommend?

This will depend on the subject that your student needs tutoring for. Tutoring slots are between 45 and 90 minutes and students are highly recommended to come for at least 90 minutes a week. Once your student has reserved a slot in a tutor's schedule, your student will have that slot for the entire year. Additional tutoring during testing periods is also available.

How late do you work? Do you work weekends?

We try to be as flexible as possible with your student's schedule. The time that a tutor is available will be determined by each individual tutor.
